The justification for these movies get worse and worse. De Niro slowly ruining his reputation with one terrible comedy after another.
Well this is the ‘go movie’ business as Avi can make money offers. Try to get a good script to any of these actors – one that is not set-up or a brand new spec – you can’t even get them through their agents. It’s a money offer business these days.
I totally get it – but it’s why crap like this gets made.
Avi Lerner… enuf said.
Justin Zackham. Nuff said. Zero talent.
Total cliche & Robert Altman did it better, but I’m still goin’.
Another movie based on an unfunny and contrived one joke premise. Get me some Paxil (or Vicodin)!
As the trailer often represents the film’s highlights…can’t help but wonder what the remaining 100 plus minutes will be? Hope I know some one who sees this so I can learn the answer.
Why doesn’t Ben Barnes get a credit? Everyone else does and he looks like a lead.
This looks terrible.
Oof. Looks unwatchable.
looks hilarious, i can’t wait to see this in theaters!
DeNiro needs to get out of the Avi Lerner business. It’s depressing.
Looks cute! DeNiro does drama better, but this looks like a fun ensemble. Plus Susan Sarandon can do no wrong… Definitely will see in theaters.
This looks worse than terrible…oh what our finest actors will do for a Millenium Films paycheck.
Maybe this movie is a little cliche, but something about this trailer makes me want to set aside my snarky cynisism, buy a big bucket of popcorn, and enjoy myself. Love almost the entire cast, so why not? I’ll see it.
Why not look at a picture of the cast in a magazine. If you go to movies to see the cast then you just want to see faces. What about the story?
Why is it called THE BIG WEDDING?
Ouch… is all I can muster. You know that feeling inside, when you see someone you know say or do something completely cringe-worthy, and you just want to crawl out of your skin FOR them? You’re embarrassed FOR them? That was depressing. There are so many good… scratch that, GREAT scripts floating around this town, and that is the trash that is getting made??? I’m embarrassed to be a part of an industry that pukes out that kind of stuff…
“This looks so funny.” – Nobody
Yep, total waste of very big talents’ time and the audience’s money. Tragic.
Flop flop flop
The killer for me is Heigl . If shes in it, it has to be a stinker
Yes, this looks bad but I suggest you blame the first time director and unseasoned producers before pointing your finger at the financier / production house.
Do you think they get back together in the end?
I just viewed the latest Breaking Bad with Jonathan Banks, Aaron Paul, Bryan Cranston, Anna Gunn and the rest of the unsung cast. It is a TELEVISION SHOW and it’s produced weekly. The caliber is set so high. DeNiro, Sarandon, etc. should be ashamed of themselves, but I guess the need the paycheck. There is NO EXCUSE for garbage like this to be produced in this day and age.
Talk about shoehorning a broken concept into a film. This looks horrible. They pretend to be married for the woman who gave up their son for adoption? How is anyone supposed to relate to that? Who cares what she thinks? I’m stunned the actors signed up for this.
A movie with Katherine Heigle and Amanda Seyfried occupying the same space?
Automatic flop.
With that cast they probably came close to covering the budget out of presales, so it’s an automatic go, no matter the quality of the film, They can’t lose money. It’s not a good way to run your career, but almost all of those actors are cashing their last run of checks, it’s not like they have a future to worry about. Sort of everything that’s wrong with Hollywood.
