The shark, this show has jumped – last season was a letdown as compared to Season 1.
How are those two shows still on the air?
For Boardwalk, I’m guessing it has to do with the 18 Emmy noms, Golden Globe, SAG, DGA and WGA wins. And maybe the fact that it’s got millions of viewers?
And for Treme, because it is awesome, showcases some of the best acting, is full of wonderful music, and it is created by David Simon…. I hope they give it a season 4 to properly wrap up the stories of these characters.
For Treme, possibly has to do with a Peabody award, the NAACP Image award and broad international appeal with musical sub-rights.
Boardwalk Empire is a fantastic show and along with Game of Thrones is an example of HBO when it’s good.
Treme was mildly interesting in season one, but season two was unnecessary and mediocre. Throw in Veep, Girls, Newsroom, and the super silly True Blood, and you’ve got examples of when HBO is just ordinary and plain bad.
If Treme gets to 100 episodes, it can air on TV Land in Hell where the worst shows ever get syndicated.
I have no interest after that Michael Pitt debacle…
I agree, you’re uninteresting.
When Nucky killed Jimmy last season, it jumped. Nice while it lasted but the only thing I’ll miss is Michael soulful, underappreciated performance.
