Talk about teaser fatigue! I’m becoming less and less interested in seeing this by the day. Whatever happened to anticipation?
I agree with you, but if we can judge the future by the past, before AVENGERS came out they did a trailer with Scarlett Johansson tied to a chair and I thought all the little teasers for that film made the film look awful and a sure loser. So, now that I feel the same way about TDKR and now that I know my instinct and my judgement suck, TDKR probably will be the biggest thing ever.
I find it hard to believe that Nolan had a hand in this marketing campaign. If the decision were his, everything would’ve been kept secret until the film opened. Either the higher level execs muscled him out of the marketing decision making process and he went along with it, or he is just selling the fuck out… the old Nolan wouldn’t have allowed this to hapen.
that sure is “hot”. what was that? and why? who’s minding the franchise?
The teaser we deserve but don’t need.
If you string all the teasers together you probably don’t need to see the movie. I haven’t watched one of them, b/c I actually want to go to the theatre and enjoy the show.
Terrible marketing.
