Gregg Henry (Hung) and Jillian Armenante have booked recurring roles on the upcoming second season of Shonda Rhimes’ ABC drama Scandal, which is undergoing casting changes. Domain-repped Henry will play Jackson, a big-money Southern guy who is smart and warm unless you cross him. Armenante, currently seen in The Dark Knight Rises, will play the role of Lucas which was originally written as male. Lucas is described as smart, well-spoken and brash. Armenante is with Domain and Framework.
English actor Ian Hart (HBO’s Luck) is set to co-star opposite Thandie Newton in the DirecTV drama series Rogue, produced by eOne Entertainment. It centers on an undercover cop (Newton) who goes after a crime lord (Marton Csokas) after her young son is killed in a drive-by shooting. Hart, repped by APA, ARG and Wishlab Management, plays an Oakland Police Department detective who works with Newton.

Armanante is a good actress. Happy for her. Her scene in “The Dark Knight Rises” got a lot of squeals of glee in the theater, and I’ve seen the film 3 times now.
I love her. I have been following her many endeavors. A great show too!
Armanante is one of those actors who registers no matter how small the role she’s playing. Shonda Rimes has a good eye for casting and writing to actors’ strengths, so here’s hoping she does well by Jillian, who deserves a successful steady gig that takes advantage of her talent.
