Mad Men creator Matt Weiner has told our sister site TVLine that Elisabeth Moss’ character Peggy Olson “is going to be on the show next year”. He added: “I can’t say how much, in what capacity or what [her story] is going to be, but she has not left the show”. There were lingering questions after Peggy this past season resigned from Sterling Cooper Draper Pryce, the firm at the center of the four-time Emmy-winning AMC drama. “When people leave Sterling Cooper, sometimes it is the end for [the character]“, Weiner says. “But I will spoil that one tiny piece of anticipation and tell people that Elisabeth will be showing up to work”. Moss was just nominated for the Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series Emmy, and the show is up for 17 Emmys total.

Great news!
Without Peggy and Joan, the show would be barely watchable.
Don and Megan are double dragsville, and the other characters are starting to get on my nerves, too.
Ironically, I couldn’t stand Peggy in the first season or two but, after the ridiculous pregnancy storyline, she finally came into her own at the agency and became a much more fascinating – and tolerable – character.
Ummmm…everyone on the show could leave as long as Don and Roger are there…those ate the only 2 you need!
Bye Peggy.
