Emma Roberts is in talks to join the Rawson Thurber-directed New Line comedy We’re The Millers opposite Jennifer Aniston and Jason Sudeikis. Roberts will play Julia, a 20 year-old runaway with a dark side who pretends to be the daughter of Sudeikis’ and Aniston’s fake family while on a cross country vacation. Roberts recently completed the starring role in the indie film Adult World opposite John Cusack and the love interest to Liam Hemsworth in Empire State for Lionsgate. She is repped by manager David Sweeney and CAA.

Read this script years ago and loved it. Those actors attached should make for a good time.
Don’t write off Thurber, either. Dodgeball was a decent comedy and it made heaps.
Great cast, I really love the script.
Love the script. The only thing bothering me is Aniston. She, like all her movies will make this about herself come promotion time. Can’t believe they hire her.
