Sportscaster Erin Andrews, who exited ESPN last week as co-host of College GameDay, has joined Fox Sports as speculated, where she’ll host the network’s new primetime college football pregame show as well as have a significant role in National Football League, Major League Baseball and other sports coverage. Fox Sports announced Andrews’ multiyear deal today. Andrews, who got her start at Fox Sports Florida in 2000, spent eight years with ESPN. Fox Sports’ new half-hour pregame show will lead into the network’s first regular-season over-the-air college football package. That coverage kicks off Saturday, Sept. 1 as Hawaii visits USC live from the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum.

I wonder what the real story is behind this exit? Did something happen at ESPN? Did FOX pay a sh*t ton for her? Or maybe they weren’t giving her enough to do at ESPN…..ahhhh one can dream.
It came out in the first DHD article that Fox’s offer was more “aggressive”. Plus, she’ll get to be more than one of ESPN’s “sideline girls” as well.
This was predicted a few days ago as she was going to be heading there and it’s a better gig for her and more exposure and freedom as well. Congrats to her but she needs to tone her ego down a bit.
The tools at Fox Sports are always so late to the game, picking up other networks’ throwaways.
Now they’re gong to program Saturday night college football, all because ABC-ESPN has been doing it for years.
that peeping tom thing worked out a treat for her. we even know who she is in Australia now
Espn can replace with another hottie.
Why do people hate her so?
And so begins the end of her career. In the sports world, she’s a dinosaur. 34, hosting a pregame college football show? Really? Ridiculous. I hope she’s not getting paid much.
ESPN got rid of her at the right time. Plenty more 21-22 year olds that are getting out of college now, ready to do what she did, for less!
Good, now ESPN can replace her with someone just as attractive but much less annoying sounding.
We talkin’ about a sideline reporter?!
You know they offered her a crap ton of money.
