• So much homophobia here. Most of you are probably closeted self haters. Good for ABC Family and JLo. I am all for this and cannot wait to see it. When does it premiere? Hopefully they will go for a more multi-cultural cast on this one. With JLo on board, I assume they will.

• To anyone who thinks she has any talent: go to a museum, hear a REAL musician, not this warbling, quasi-talented fame whore. Its baffling to read the comments of morons actually praising her work. She cant sing (her label dropped her), her movies bomb, her reality show is fake, and shes daiting a kid. Enough said.

• It is my family make up…..lesbian couple, my 17 yo son and a displaced 17 yo lesbian whose family kicked her out when she came out. We’ve also opened our home as a save house for out teens needing a place to be themselves.

• Love JLo because she is talented…I am more interested in her acting chops than her vocals. I think the whole gay stuff on tv today is a fad. I agree there needs to be more tolerance of the issues gays experience, but screen writers often try for shock value.

  I’m surprised JLo doesn’t focus on the Latino culture. Think of the fun she could have mixing the Latino culture with the non-Latino family. I live in a community with about 40/60 percent Latino. As an educator, I am always surprised by how little I know about the Latino’s beautiful culture. I come into contact with numerous illegal immigrants, most are awesome people,and are trying to make a better life for themselves.

  Are there gay Hispanics? Of course, but I think the need for a show about the Hispanic cultural experiences is a higher priority than a show about a Hispanic Gay couple…Why not make them a neighbor…Since Hispanics (along with most other cultures) tend to avoid the gay issue, this could be entertaining fun for the typical Hispanic Family forced to interact with Gay neighbors.
