Jerry Seinfeld is stepping into the web series realm with Comedians In Cars Getting Coffee, which is set to premiere on Sony-owned video hub Crackle at 9 PM ET on July 19. A trailer for the series — which appears to be exactly what its title says it is — hit today, featuring the likes of Ricky Gervais, Larry David and Michael Richards, among others. There’s also a website. BTIG analyst Rich Greenfield already is saying Seinfeld could be a big enough name to score big on the web and outside the TV paradigm — much the same way Glenn Beck is attempting to do with his live-stream video network GBTV.

Michael Richards is back! fingers crossed he does his N-word shtick
Here’s to never letting things go.
Stay bitter!
Sorry but it isn’t a question of being bitter, it’s a question of association, and it’s virtually impossible now to look at Michael Richards without thinking of his vitriolic meltdown.
Not really, I look at Michael Richards and see Kramer. And the guy who’s holding up “Fridays” ever being released to home video. But thanks for being outraged on my behalf.
“Classic Liberal” indeed, heh
Gotta watch this just to see all of Seinfeld’s cars.
Seriously how many cars does he really own?
Someone said he actually had a NY building torn down so he could build a huge warehouse for all his cars.
Nah….that would be so out of character!
ahem…
Eat the rich!
Yeah, Jerry is super rich and has a bunch of cars. Yawn. I would love to see him exercise his enormous talent to doing something REAL (that isn’t a sequel to BEE MOVIE).
this looks like it’s only getting made ’cause it’s self-financed.
sheeesh this seems really weak and I’m a huge fan of Seinfeld……
the tv show.
Comedians With Very Expensive Collectors Cars
Starring Jerry Seinfeld and Jay Leno and who else?
Nobody because they are the only two who buy these cars.
They have so much money they don’t know what to spend it on.
Seinfelds final episode burned all his bridges with the fans of the show and he has done nothing in the last 10 years to make himself relevant to the new generation. I could be wrong but I see him doing as well as Reiser did on NBC
What planet are you on? Seinfeld’s sitcom is still on TV like 6 times a day in reruns, 14 years after the final episode, meaning the demand is still high. Burned all his bridges? I think you’ve burned all your brain cells trying so hard not sound as dumb as you truly are.
Re-runs aren’t aired based on demand. “Seinfeld” is still on, and so is “Yes, Dear” “MASH” and “Little House on the Prairie.” Once the syndication deal is done, it costs next to nothing to run them into the ground. Doesn’t mean people still watch, or care.
This trailer is so odd because it’s just rich man car porn. Doesn’t bode well.
Just what the world needs, another TV show with Ricky Gervais laughing like a teen age girl.
Just what the world needs, another TV Show with Ricky Gervais laughing like a teenage girl.
Does Jerry Seinfeld know a comedian or anyone for that matter under 50 years old?
Easy. There are no comedians under 50 years old who are actually funny.
And don’t say the overhyped Louis C.K., he’s only funny if you’re a sad, loser white guy. Maybe.
And I thought Marriage Ref was bad on NBC…this upcoming show is even worse and this truly is about nothing!
Michael Richards is great. It’s always so much fun watching Jerry with his old cast members. I think this is interesting enough to get a look.
Jerry, please go back to NY and get those inefficient, polluting vehicles off our roads ASAP. There’s enough pollution and traffic in LA as it is, please find another city to pollute and cure your boredom.
Yikes. Jerry can’t help but continually show who the driving creative force of “Seinfeld” was, can he?
Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
