
Like its did during the last Presidential election four years ago, NBC will do Saturday Night Live primetime election specials. The two specials will air on September 20 and September 27, NBC chairman Bob Greenblatt said at the atop of the network’s executive session this morning at the TCAs.

Last election was good. let’s see if they can top it.
Smart move, the ratings were good and NBC is focusing on comedy.
Super, their sketches will go on as long as the campaign.
Great, more biased comedy sketches from SNL. Gee, cannot wait for the edgy Obama stuff. They’ll crucify Mitt of course.
Did they mention whether they would have any skits that ridicule Democrats?
In the spirit of bipartisanship, I’ll say that both candidates will provide plenty of fodder between now and late September. And let’s not forget all the comedy gold yet to come from the two unfortunates running for veep.
I hope they aren’t too desperate to reelect O
And can really be funny…lighten up SNL!
