Open Road is moving its comedy Hit And Run from Friday, August 24 to Wednesday, August 22. The distributor made the move after testing the film and wanting to squeeze out more summer business. The film was directed by Dax Shepard and David Palmer and stars Shepard, Kristen Bell, Bradley Cooper, Tom Arnold and Kristin Chenoweth. Shepard plays a man who risks all to bust out of witness protection to transport his fiance to L.A. for a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. He has Feds and gangsters on his tail. “We’ve been getting fantastic reactions at screenings around the country all summer, from Bonnaroo to Comic-Con,” said Open Road marketing president Jason Cassidy. “We’re confident that an extra two days in the marketplace will result in positive word of mouth and a nice boost for the Hit And Run opening.”

Don’t know much about this but will see any Kristen Bell or Cooper films. Hope it’s funny only seen two good comedies all summer
Would love someone to explain how Dax Shepard gets work. Or did career = Kristen Bell connection
Um, by writing a script and hiring himself to direct and star in it? Oh, and by having a fabulously wealthy benefactor in Palm Springs willing to write the check.
But this does look fun. I hope it works out gangbusters for him!
dax sheppard’s career hilight so far is season 1 of PUNK’d. He is not the man.
I want to see this one. I love Kristen Bell!
I saw an advanced screening of this and LOVED it. The movie has so much heart. It is an awesome combination of sweet and offensive. I can’t wait to see it again on the 22nd!
Dax Shepherd is a poor mans Jimmy Fallon. Ie
Not funny
