Lifetime has ordered eight hourlong episodes of Prom Queens, a docu-series from Evolution Media that follows high school girls jostling to be crowned queens of their senior proms; each week will feature a different school. The new series will premiere August 14 at 10 PM and will follow the network’s Dance Moms. Doug Ross, Alex Baskin, Mark Herwick, Kathleen French and Greg Stewart are executive producing alongside Rob Sharenow, Gena McCarthy and Abigail Harvey of Lifetime.
