Sharon Osbourne, on hand to represent The Talk during a TCA panel today for CBS’ daytime shows, revealed she has not been formally asked to return as a judge on NBC’s summer hit America’s Got Talent. “They’ve asked Howard [Stern] back,” she said. “They haven’t asked me back. Who knows?” During the panel session held on the Price Is Right Stage at CBS Television City, Osbourne was asked about her tweet last week that suggested she would be leaving her other job as a judge on Talent.
“You know, with the greatest respect to everyone here, we are here to talk about the No. 1 network in the world, that is CBS,” she said. “It’s not appropriate at this time.” But afterward, she was asked whether she would come back to Talent if asked. “I don’t know, six years is a long time to be on any show,” she replied. “I have to think about me and what I want to do. I’m so fuckin’ old — I don’t know.”

On the sidelines, Osbourne also offered spunky comments on two other topics: the Olympics‘ opening ceremony in her home country, and the departure of Leah Remini as a host on The Talk. (Earlier, Remini appeared before journalists to talk about her new ABC comedy Family Tools and expressed some lingering unhappiness about that decision.) On Remini: “I never had a falling out with Leah, ever. But Leah is an actress in everything: you know you are employed, but you don’t know for how long. I’m surprised at how she took it…that’s the way it is in this industry. Being born into this industry, I know how it goes. Enjoy your five minutes.” If her own “five minutes” in front of the camera ends, “Fuck, I’m 60 years old. I’ll go back to the music industry.”

Both on the panel and off, Osbourne cracked wise about the London Summer Olympics. When other panelists talked about the prospects of getting Olympic athletes as guests on their shows, Osbourne chirped: “But we won’t have any English, they haven’t won anything.” After the session, she was asked what she thought of the Opening Ceremony: “I didn’t watch it; it’s bloody boring, to see a [comedy sequence] with the Queen coming out of a bloody plane.”
The CBS panel also included Peter Bergman of The Young And The Restless, Heather Tom of The Bold And The Beautiful, The Price Is Right host Drew Carey, The Talk‘s Julie Chen and Wayne Brady of Let’s Make A Deal.

Who cares if she is back or not. She is the weak link out of the 3 judges anyway. Besides the show really sucks anyway.
JHIG is a tool
They’re the 3 creepiest judges on TV, they’re the biggest freaks on that freak show.
Sharon,
Call it a day. You and Ozzie have loads of money. Spend time with him and the kids.
You don’t need AGT…it needs you.
She hasn’t been asked back to “America’s Got talent”
because simply…she has no talent. And marrying Ozzie Osbourn shows good judgement? Thanks for the laugh.,.,
AGT needs to fire Howard Stern.
He’s SO old.
At least Sharon is like everybody’s cool pot-smoking grandma.
I agree with whomever said he is SO old. Old, pathetic, and quite frightening looking.
Howard Stern is the one who should get fired. He makes everything about himself, and takes the job way too seriously.
it’s a variety show, for goodness sakes!
Give it a rest some of you, Howard Stern is the only good thing on that show. With out him, that show is unwatchable.
Sharon is dead weight. Get rid of her, I’m sick and tired of her pattering to the press because she’s jealous of Stern.
howard should have his wife the amazing BethOats as a co-judge
Sharon Osbourne is a horrible Judge. she keeps putting throu no talent acts that have no hope of winning.
America’s Got Talent is an absurd premise. I get tired of the judges asking contestants if they are a million dollar act. Read the fine print at the end of the show. The $1 million is either a reduced cash equivalent of the annuity or it is paid out over 40 years. That is like $25,000 a year. What a joke.
I’m surprised AGT asked Howard Stern to return – the show has produced its lowest ratings in history since he joined this season. I wonder if they are going to offer him the same amount of money he got for this season, or if they’ll be smart and reduce the base salary and only give him more if the ratings increase.
I refuse to watch AGT without Sharon. NBC thinks that Howard Stern is God! No he’s know, he’s not that great at all. Sharon is entertaining, it’s fun to watch her!
Maybe Sharon didn’t watch the opening ceremony cos Ozzie’s music was ignored. Better luck for the closing ceremony? Doubt it some how.
AGT has become a real mess. The ratings have been a disaster this year compared to previous ones. Sharon has been good on the show all these years. The only thing that has changed is the addition of Stern, which is basically the reason the chemistry between the judges is non-existant. I am shocked, if it is true, they would have asked Stern back after this year and not Sharon. Probably people associated with the Stern PR machine twisting things around.
