Gossip Girl StyleStyle Media announced today that it has picked up off-network rights to Gossip Girl from Warner Bros Domestic Television Distribution and will begin airing it August 15 at 8 PM on Style. The one-hour series, which will launch its sixth and final season on the CW in the fall, will air from 8-11 PM on Wednesdays and the network will air a marathon on Labor Day. The series was developed for television by Fake Empire’s Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage, who serve as executive producers. Fake Empire and Alloy Entertainment produce in association with Warner Bros TV and CBS Television Studios.

Style Media also said today that it has renewed its reality series Big Rich Texas for a third season to premiere October 7 and is expanding the franchise for Big Rich Georgia, with the spinoff set to debut in first-quarter 2013. Style also announced that new series Betsey + Lulu, starring fashion designer Betsey Johnson and her daughter Lulu, begins filming next month and will premiere early next year. Meanwhile, current series Giuliana & Bill is set to return October 2 and Tia & Tamera on October 22.
