  And then I stupidly think: What if Disney could have cast Wahlberg as John Carter and just called the movie “John”?

• Well, people love garbage. Comedies are basically ‘let’s make it rauchier and more stupid, that way people will be find it funny no matter how terrible it is’.

• They did 3 days and many many sessions per multiplex. Jam Factory had a session every hour.

• 2 day and 2 evening sessions at best?? There were at least 10 sessions a day right through until a 10:20pm session. A lot of the tickets were only $10 for the preview weekend too, compared to $18 for a normal ticket, which makes the total even more amazing!

• My local (which happens to be the biggest cinema in Western Australia) only had 1 screening per day for 3 days.

  Astounding numbers! Loved the movie and was happy it at least had some heart to it as well.

  ……Wow! $4.85 over 4 days from 280 locations, that’s not much, were they paying people to watch it?
