God bless the victims and their families.
I need an alibi for Matt Tolmach.
These fanboys have gone too far.
TRAGIC!!! Movies are a place to take your family for fun… The youngest victims in this shooting are small children!!! No film maker wants this to happen!!! Yet… You have to wonder if this might be some sort of “fall out” from Rush Limbaugh’s BS this week, where he spewed the Liberal film makers are using the character Bane (villain) as a subliminal political message against Mitt Romney. This is CRAZY!!! Rush Limbaugh is CRAZY!!! The suspect in custody is obviously CRAZY!!! Movies are supposed to be ENTERTAINMENT!!! Act’s like this are despicable and heinous! This sickens me!!
I think I will wait a little bit to watch this movie or buy the DVD, it’s more safe.
This is horrific. I appreciate the up to the minute coverage, impressive as usual, but please keep the box office gross articles apart from the updates on the tragedy. Thanks.
A.J. — blaming Limbaugh-or even insinuating that he had some influence in this– is not only stupid but offensive. It also reveals that you have not actually listened to Limbaugh this week, but may have glanced at far-left hysteria over him. From what we know so far, these murders appear to be the work of a young male who looks to have been planning this for some time-well beyond the week. It is likely this young man, who reportedly was working on a graduate degree, succumbed to some kind of mental illness.
Others are upset at the violence in the movie, the preview of “Gangster Squad”, or our “gun culture” but the true culprit looks to be the mental illness or evil fantasies of one pathetic young man. Don’t slur the rest of your fellow Americans with this just because you disagree with them. Limbaugh has raised 10s of millions of dollars on his show for cancer research and countless other causes. He often raises more than other, far more publicized charity events. You don’t like him but he is not the cardboard cutout of your imagination.
Amirite, there are no details as of yet if this is the work of a “fanboy.” Don’t generalize. It’s unnecessarily sensational and demonizing.
