ABC has renewed reality series Wipeout for a sixth season when the show will mark its 100th episode. The network didn’t specify whether the obstacle course show will air again in the summer. Jill Wagner will return as co-host after Vanessa Minnillo replaced her in Season 5. Hosting are John Anderson (ESPN’s SportsCenter) and John Henson (E!’s Talk Soup), with Wagner co-hosting.
The ever popular Big Balls will be back, along with new obstacles and completely redesigned Wipeout Zones. While not as strong in the ratings as it was early in its run, Wipeout is still one of the few broadcast shows that put on some numbers during the summer. ABC boasts that it is the 2011-12 season’s No. 1 show overall for Family Co-Viewing on the major networks (Adults 18-49 watching with Teens and Kids). Wipeout executive producers are creator Matt Kunitz and Scott Larsen. Endemol USA is producing.

This is one of the very very few shows that all the family like. Please keep making it; we enjoy it so much. If I didn’t live in the UK and I wasn’t disabled with mobility problems I’d go on the show like a shot if I could. Keep up the very good work.
