London (August 13, 2012) – Focus Features International will handle sales on Woody Allen’s next and currently untitled film starring Alec Baldwin, Cate Blanchett, Louis C.K., Bobby Cannavale, Andrew Dice Clay, Michael Emerson, Sally Hawkins, Peter Sarsgaard, Max Casella and Alden Ehrenreich. Principal photography on the film will begin in San Francisco and New York City this month.

Focus Features International handled sales on Allen’s last film, To Rome with Love starring Allen, Alec Baldwin, Roberto Benigni, Penélope Cruz, Judy Davis, Jesse Eisenberg, Greta Gerwig and Ellen Page.

The film is a Gravier Production and produced by Letty Aronson and Stephen Tenenbaum.

Focus Features International will premiere four titles in the Toronto International Film Festival in September including: Andrew Adamson’s drama Mr. Pip starring Hugh Laurie; Roger Michell’s historical tale Hyde Park on Hudson starring Academy Award® nominees Bill Murray and Laura Linney; and the epic fantasy Cloud Atlas starring Academy Award® winners Tom Hanks and Halle Berry for acclaimed filmmakers Lana Wachowski, Tom Tykwer, and Andy Wachowski.

The FFI slate also includes the 2012 Cannes Film Festival Opening Night Film, Moonrise Kingdom, written and directed by Wes Anderson and starring Bruce Willis, Edward Norton, Bill Murray, Frances McDormand and Tilda Swinton; Closed Circuit, the suspense thriller directed by John Crowley and starring Eric Bana and Rebecca Hall; Paul Weitz’s comedy/drama Admission starring Tina Fey and Paul Rudd; Gus Van Sant’s Promised Land, a contemporary drama written by and starring Matt Damon and John Krasinski; the psychological thriller Oculus, directed by Mike Flanagan; Arthur Newman, starring Academy Award® winner Colin Firth and Emily Blunt; and Academy Award® nominated filmmaker Ruairi Robinson’s thriller The Last Days on Mars starring Liev Schreiber, Olivia Williams, and Romola Garai.
