Fox has given Gordon Ramsay’s newest reality series Hotel Hell a second-season order. After having its premiere date pushed a couple of times, Hotel Hell posted the highest-rated series debut of the summer and ranks as this summer’s No. 1 new series among Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34 as well as other demos. “With Hotel Hell, Gordon has proved once again that he’s one of the most successful and appealing personalities on television,” said Fox’s president of alternative entertainment Mike Darnell. “He delivered an amazing new show for us this summer that fans immediately embraced.”
Hotel Hell, in which Ramsay whips failing hotels into shape, joins Ramsay’s MasterChef, which was renewed for a fourth season last month, and his flagship Hell’s Kitchen, which received a two-season pickup in April. Hotel Hell, whose freshman season finale airs Monday, is produced by Ramsay’s One Potato Two Potato Inc. Ramsay, Ben Adler, Patricia Llewellyn and Adeline Ramage Rooney serve as executive producers.

They should rename this network, the Gordon Ramsey Network…or GRN, since there’s so much of this loudmouth buffoon on there, it’s not even funny.
Or they could rename it the Seth MacFarland network. Ramsey is insane but fun to watch, I’m waiting the day that he yells at someone and they wack him on the head with a frying pan
I greatly prefer the Hotel Impossible show with that dude Anthony on the Travel Channel…Anthony has so much more
cred
Great news. I’d watch Gordy read a phone book, the dude is entertaining as all get out. Love this show, and all his other ones.
Robert Irvine’s show is so much better than GR’s kitchen nightmares. Fox really knows how to ruin shows by adding stupid drama and close ups and dumb scores. I prefered GR’s Uk versions, so much more heart.
Hate this hotel hell too. The discovery version is much better. Thanks fox for ruining shows!
Seems like a really good show with a good agenda. But what is with all the swearing and guttural language. There are more beeps than words. Sick already of the beeps. This is a well educated man, can’t he use intelligent words to get his point across. Good show, lousy language. I am not 10 and don’t get a charge off these words anymore. Grow up guys.
I believe that the swearing is because it’s a reality TV show that is effective in snapping people back into reality with no-nonsense communication. It does seem a rather direct way to get the point across to some of these characters in denial -just look at the responses of the people there when he swears….
This is an excellent show along with all of Ramaseys show. He uses rough language to get his point across to the people who are too arrogant to take advice. In Master Chef he’s much nicer because he’s dealing with immature cooks. Anyway, I think he’s great, huge fan!!!
I agree with the poster who said that Hotel Impossible is a better show. Anthony is is more credible and I like his simple solutions approach. Gordon Ramsey’s show focuses too much on the restaurant operations and not on the hotel itself. Anthony comes across as more likable and more experienced than Gordon.
I read last week where Hotel Impossible returns in December. I suggest you “Hotel Hell” fans check it out if you haven’t seen it.
