I think it’s dubious that they can keep up the quality of the first three at the rate they’re making them, but they haven’t made one yet that didn’t satisfy. PA 3 was the best of the bunch, so I’m glad to see the same directors making PA4. Very few horror franchises manage to make three solid scary films in a row, let alone four, other than Evil Dead and Phantasm. Most horror franchises turn into tongue in cheek self-parodies by the third or fourth.
