Glee co-creator and PRmeister Ryan Murphy just tweeted the new Season 4 teaser. (Below.) He also keeps using the show to help revive movie actress careers currently in freefall. Can Jennifer Aniston’s or Katherine Heigl’s upcoming Glee arcs be far behind? I’m just not sure it’s going to work anymore since, in terms of heat, Glee is so two seasons ago. For this upcoming season debuting Sept 13th, Sarah Jessica Parker will portray the online editor of American Vogue on the Fox show. And Murphy just tweeted the first official picture (right) from Kate Hudson’s upcoming guest arc. She’ll play Cassandra July, Rachel Berry’s NYADA dance instructor and mentor. Glee already helped Gwyneth Paltrow with a 2011 Emmy win for outstanding guest actress in a comedy series. Murphy himself may win a Best Series Emmy someday – but most likely not for Glee.

People here need to read the article. The guy clearly states Murphy will never win a “Best Series” Emmy for Glee. Didn’t see the word “Directing” any where.
Agree with the article, but fyi Murphy has actually already won an Emmy – for directing the Glee pilot.
Murphy won the directing in a comedy Emmy for the GLEE pilot a couple of years back.
Sorry to be picky, but Murphy is already an Emmy winner for “Glee.” He won his Emmy in 2010 for directing the pilot episode.
Last time I check Jennifer Aniston had two films gross over a 100 mil last year. Wanderlust just sucked. Can’t blame her for wanting to work with Wain. We’re the Millers will be big. Wait and see.
Those had nothing to do with her! Adam Sandler had his fan base for JGWI, the premise of HB was the draw.
She is not a draw. When she headlines a film they make very little. Wanderlust, love Happens, Management, Switch, Derailed, etc.
People do not go see a film for her. She acts the same with her stupid facial expressions and wavy hands.
^^^Great post. I’m no Aniston fan but credit is due. By far the most successful of the former Friends. Box office doesn’t lie. Let’s go by facts rather than tabloids programming us who not to like.
How is what he said a lie. Aniston is the sidekick female piece to big male comics – she’s had ‘em all, she’s Julie Bowen with a layer cut and a bigger nose, only more expensive…meaning, those movies would have made money ANYWAY (Adam Sandler, Ben Stiller, Jim Carey, etc.). The movies she TRIES to headline? FLOPS. Be it Wanderstunk, The Switch, Derailed, Rumor Has It, Management, Love Happens, etc. etc. All wretchedly bad movie that did diddley with her at the helm. Google is your friend.
Totally agree, Nikki, Glee ain’t what it used to be and it’s ability to revive actresses stalling film careers is minimal. Still, that’s a smokin’ hot picture of KH.

And how Glee is gonna help any actor career when the show is in freefall too? Ryan, Fox and the actors who are staying (aka Lea Michele) looks really desperate promoting the hell out of this show.
The article didnt say anything about him not having won an emmy, it said he may win an emmy for best SERIES someday but it won’t be for Glee, which I agree with.
Though I doubt he will ever win a best series emmy for anything. His shows always start out great, but burn out quickly. Though emmy for best mini series is a different story. Wouldnt mind seeing American Horror Story win.
