Matt Jones (Breaking Bad) is set to co-star opposite Rainn Wilson, Majandra Delfino and Thomas Middleditch in The Office spinoff project, which will be introduced in an episode of the veteran NBC comedy’s upcoming final season. Titled The Farm, the spinoff has Dwight (Wilson) living at the Schrute family beet farm and bed & breakfast. Jones will play Dwight’s cousin Zeke. The role was conceived as a guest starring/recurring, but I hear the producers decided to expand it to regular for Jones after he screen-tested for another part in the pilot, that of Dwight’s bother Jeb, which went to Middleditch. Jones, repped by Paradigm and manager Brian Ferrantino, has been recurring on the dark AMC drama Breaking Bad as Badger, Jesse’s (Aaron Paul) friend.

I hate Rainn Wilson’s character. If he is in a scene to long I usually fast forward. This is going to be as successful as Joey if it is lucky.

I hope this gets Matt L. Jones off of NCIS, loved him on Breaking Bad, hated him on NCIS as Dornegant. Glad to see him going to this ‘Office’ spin off, good luck to him!

I loved Matt on NCIS and I view Dwight as extremely funny and witty. Now that it has been announced this is The Office’s last season, I look forward to The Farm slightly filling the hole the show’s absence will leave in my heart.

Dwight is an excellent character on the office he has been carrying the show for the last couple of seasons Rainn Wilson is fantastic in the role so hopefully this spinoff works.
dude is funny and should have his own show. Love his voice on Kickbuttowski (Gunther). Should have more lines on NCIS. Sad bout BB not last season. Good luck MJ with the new show. Sure your going to carry it into many seasons.
