NBC has made a script deal for a drama project from Ringer creators Eric Charmelo and Nicole Snyder and producer Peter Traugott. The project, from Universal TV, is described as a sexy Southern Gothic thriller set in New Orleans — rich with tradition, superstition… and murder. Charmelo and Snyder will write and will executive produce alongside Peter Traugott and Rachel Kaplan through their Uni TV-based production company TBD Prods. Charmelo and Snyder, repped by UTA and the Shuman Co. and attorney Jamie Mandelbaum, are currently co-executive producers on David Schulner’s midseason NBC drama Do No Harm, also produced by Uni TV and TBD Prods.

Sounds very Soapy… Clearly ABC’s Revenge has sparked interest in soap’s within a serial form.
Oh god – They ruined Sarah Michelle Gellar’s TV comeback with the mess that was Ringer. Not holding my breath for this.
Their writting is awful. They shouldn’t pick this up. Just look at the flop of the year – Ringer
Still wish Ringer was getting a season 2.
Ringer really should have gotten a season 2! CW could, and has, done much worse!
They weren’t running RINGER, you can’t blame them.
Yet they wrote several episodes which ALL of them have been awful. Of course you can blame them for their horrendous writing.
It’s tough to think of NBC as sexy. In fact, I don’t think it can be done.
It’s tough to say ‘Ringer’ actually had writing…
It was on the CW afterall.
I and many of my friends loved Ringer and were upset that CW cancelled it.big mistake..I can’t wait to see more of their writing. I think they have an unbelievable way of writing..new show sounds good to me..when will it start?
Miss Ringer. Writing was superb! Sharpe and intelligent. Too bad audiences were not up to it. We need more TV like this. I wish them luck and look forward to their next project.
