After interest from multiple networks, NBC has bought an hourlong project from Life creator/executive producer Rand Ravich. The untitled drama project, produced by 20th Century Fox TV, is described as an emotionally charged action thriller set in and around the world of Washington DC. It follows an idealistic secret service agent who finds himself at the epicenter of an international crisis on his first day on the job. He will need to cross moral and legal lines as he navigates the highest levels of power and corruption on his search for the truth. Ravich is executive producing with his producing partner Far Shariat, making a return to NBC where he landed his first series, the 2007 drama Life. Last year, Ravich wrote a Navy SEALs drama for Bruckheimer TV and Warner Bros. TV, which had a put pilot commitment at ABC.

LIFE was exceptionally good … NBC screwed it up … again!
At some point, Comcast will wake up and realize that the folks at NBC programming haven’t a clue as to what type of shows will succeed this fall. The promos, seen during the Olympics, are be far better than the actual programming will be. I’ll give the new “Go On” about ha;f a dozen shows before it’s cancelled. Matthew Perry is NOT a lead character. Wanna bet??? Charles Bachrach, Las Vegas
Watching “Life” on Netflix. It was brilliant the first viewing. It’s even better when watched on Netflix. NBC sucks.
How many failed big, expensive thrillers does NBC need to air before they stop doing that?
This plot sounds like a variation of 24. Been there, seen that.
Another failing upward situation, right?
Astronaut’s Wife lost $50m.
Life got canceled after 32 Episodes
Candyman sequel?
