It’s “preordained” that CBS will renew its program licensing deal with Netflix, broadcast company CEO Les Moonves told analysts this evening. He added that CBS “will get more money for this and we will have better visibility onto which shows will go into those packages.” OK, so what shows work best on Netflix? He volunteered one franchise that probably shouldn’t come as a surprise: Star Trek. (Analysts didn’t pin him down on whether he specifically meant the original series, Star Trek: The Next Generation, Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, Star Trek: Voyager, or Star Trek: Enterprise.) Moonves added that CBS’ “relationship [with Netflix] is so good that we will be adding titles including CSI: Miami.”

NetFlix was talking to CBS about bringing JERICHO back. Have not heard anything new since word leaked out via TVGuide.com a while back.
These things take time.
I’m assuming the biggest stumbling block, alongside licensing and production costs, will be the actors. I would rather them not do Jericho at all than to bring it back with only one or two of the original cast.
Well, as much as it pains me to say it, I agree. One or two original cast members just won’t do it. Gotta have the core cast for it to work. So….cast of Jericho, PLEASE COME BACK!
Oh, wish it would return and it would have to be most of original cast. We love this series for the story lines and characters. It is about family and friends surviving together that has us hooked. If not enough of the actors will redo this show it might not be successful. Great actors. Wish Gerald McRaney had not been killed off.

PLEASE please sell Taxi to Netflix. It hasnt been on in reruns in syndication in yrs and is currebtly only on cbs.com with select episodes. Its a classic show that could have renwed interest. Please. Or if you are a wgn network type executive, please buy the rights for cheap.

I finally jumped on the Netflix bandwagon a few months back and admittedly the first thing I checked out was Star Trek TOS lol. The picture through my PS3 was amazing and I wound up with a room full of people gawking at it.
This bits off topic but since then I’ve been through all of Breaking Bad and Sons of Anarchy and I’m currently glued into Adam 12. The latter well pre dates my time but I swear to god it has to be one of the best shows I’ve ever seen.
I believe ‘Netflix’ will wait to see how ‘Arrested Development’ does before ordering any shows with higher budgets like ‘Jericho’.
I am one of those Netflix viewers that have watched all of the Star Treks, all of the Stargates, all of Lost, and I am watching Alphas right now. I have watched the complete series of Jericho several times. I hope that Netflix and CBS reach an agreement soon for new episodes of Jericho! I love Netflix and I love Jericho!
Please bring back Jericho! I never watched it on tv but Netflix gave it the exposure it needed. I know so many people who have experienced it the same way. Bring it back and they have a sure thing winner in thier hands!!! The tremendous fan base has done nothing but grow over the last several years.
All of the actors want Jericho back and have stated they would be interested in a reboot.
I was always surprised that this didn’t do as well as it did. It was one of my favorites and I’d love to see it come back. At any rate, Gerald McRaney’s character, Mayor Johnston Green, died towards the end of Season 1 so wee know he wouldn’t be back.
There two other cancelled shows I’d like to see come back that were on about the same time as Jericho — Invasion [ABC] and Surface [NBC].
Ah, I would have loved to see Surface finished too. I didn’t know it was an unfinished series when I started watching it.
However, the show I would be most excited to see would be Jericho. It’s been on my instant queue forever and, as soon as I started watching it a few days ago I remember watching the first few episodes on TV. Thanks to Netflix I have been able to watch shows from years ago that I didn’t get to see when they aired. I wasn’t able to keep up with LOST or Jericho because of my crazy schedule. I’m now going to finish the episodes I haven’t seen. I would LOVE for this show to continue if they could get Skeet and the other core cast members to agree.

Plase, CBS and Netflix, make a deal. I am absolutely sure the fans will make it worth. The timing couldn’t be better! Hope we get a happy ending as Arrested Develpment fans got it (including myself).
Yes, Netflix please further the talks with CBS. I just started watching Jericho on Netflix this morning before i came into work and now i am hooked. It is not often that i say this but this show is great!!!!!. I can see how it creates die hard fans. Keep it going NETFLIX!!!!!!

First off- I WANT MORE JERICHO!!!!!! it is one of the reasons why I returned to Netflix periodically – just to get my Jericho fix. I have several tv series that I love to watch – repeatedly. Survivors (BBC) is another one – the aftermath of a flu virus that kills most of the world’s population- also available on Netflix. That’s another one I wish they would pick up and continue the story line.
Which brings me to the next subject- I really wish Netflix just specialized in tv series, and more of them, and for heaven sake- don’t make people wait so long before posting the next season. Forget the movies, very few I honestly want to see, and the documentaries are okay.
I have almost finished the entire Jericho lineup. I’m saving the last show, just savoring this feeling because once it’s over I’m going to be upset. I began watching it a week ago and can’t believe I dismissed it as alienesque so many years ago when it aired on t.v. All I really caught was the title font in t.v white-noise and it reminded me of Poltergist. Crazy dismissal. But that’s the awful of cable and why we disconnected 3 yrs ago. It’s just Netflix for us now.
Netflix airing it gave me the opportunity to watch it even though I was biased against it. And holy mother am I glad I did. Brilliant show, fast-paced with excellent character development, intrigue galore and that Skeet..I am a fan now, same goes for Lennie,the dynamic of two diverse but intertwined characters is remarkable. I love that Lennie and Skeet play them so smart and conflicted and entertaining as all get out. I love the secondary characters, everyone embodies their character so well in the show.
CBS make it happen. I just love smart actors/actresses and smart dialougue not embedded in selling sex as entertainment. But don’t veer off course and make it anything but what it was. This is perfection.
I just started watching Jericho the night before and I just finished Jericho today and let me tell you I need more episodes!
Please bring back Jericho on Netflix!!!! I’ve never been in love with a show like this before!!! Bring back original cast and finish the story!!! What a horrible ending. So sad!!!
