• Okay, I need someone smarter than me to explain this as I’m a little confused on this part.. “She will play Clarice, the ex-girlfriend of Shay (Lauren German) who is pregnant and married to a rich husband.” So Appleby is the ex-girlfriend of German (who is a woman) which means her character likes women, yes? but then it says she’s pregnant and married to a rich man? o.O huh?

  • What’s so confusing to you about Appleby’s character being bisexual? (Or, at the very least, bi-curious in her younger days?)Honestly, the fact that the character used to be in a relationship with a woman but is now in a relationship with a man is so obvious that there should have been no need to hit you over the head with a sign stating the obvious.

  I was confused on this as well, but from what I’m reading, Shay (Lauren German) is either a lesbian and married a man because she’s changed, or her character is bisexual.

• I hate when TV shows recast a role. It just really bugs me when a character is totally changed like that, and the audience is just supposed to play along like nothings happened. Plus, Alexandra was one of my favorite characters on that show. Really sad to see where Last Man is going this year.

• I completely agree. I loved Alexandra and this new chick is not doing the role any justice at all. And this whole new story line of having this father of the little boy all of a sudden being a huge part of his life even though we never saw him b4! Just very weird turn this show has taken
