Since we are rehashing old properties how about the only thing Natalie Portman was ever good in and do a sequal to “The Professional” and basically do a female centric remake with Natalie Portman in the Jean Reno role.
Yes, but Natalie , was also good when she did that gangsta rap sketch for SNL. Everything else, her acting is never natural and feels forced.
Brian Duffield is an amazing writer. i love this script. good for all involved. so nice to see a great project move forward.
I love this script and package. heard Jeremy Renner in also.
This company will make amazing movies!! Natalie Portman is a fantastic actress!
Natalie, play this character as pure as you can….go to a place emotionally when you were so young and innocent and so pure….play her with the purest heart, filled with only love and no hate….
When she encounters and up against such evil, hate, viciousness…..it’s opposite of who she is….at first she’s shocked by their inhumaity, but then over time she learns by using her intelligence, her vulnerbality ( which is a strength, not weakness ), and her heart to find a way to kill the devil…..
She goes after them not because she has hate in her heart, but because she knows it is the right thing to do for the safety of all……
Because she is pure, it is LOVE that is the driving force for her to fight to protect the person she loves and protect others…..because her heart is GOOD! Let the audience see the stark contrats between good and bad and why the good must fight the bad…..and the most innocent and pure finds her own strength / power within herself through her heart to move mountains!
Don’t play her bitter or have hate in her heart, but only love and intelligence…..the bad guys have hate in their hearts is why it is so easy for them to hurt and kill people without batting an eyelash…..
It’s more compelling to see a beautiful, innocent, pure human being, untouched, unaffected, with a heart of gold find her own strength when pitched against evil!
Slip a scene or two in there where she prays to GOD and ask him for strength and forgiveness if she should have to kill the devil…..if there’s a scene where she holds a gun to shoot, don’t shoot it so easily, but do it from a person who has asked for GOD’s forgiveness to do this act to protect themselves because she has a conscience….and that’s the difference between her and the gang members….
Good luck and have fun!
I’m very excited for this film! Love Natalie Portman for this. Great script. Am reading it might be Fassbender with Portman. That’s amazing. Great team here. SPI is off to a good start with this one.
