EXCLUSIVE: WME Entertainment has signed Jane Levy, the star of the ABC series Suburgatory who’s about to pop with starring roles in the Josh Schwartz-directed Fun Size at Paramount, and the Fede Alvarez-directed remake of Sam Raimi’s Evil Dead for FilmDistrict. In the latter film, she plays Mia, a character that closely follows the insane arc of Ash in the 1981 original, a role played by Bruce Campbell. Mia is one of five young people who head to the remote cabin where evil awaits. Recovering from a recent overdose, Mia is particularly vulnerable. Levy had most recently been at Gersh. She remains with James Suskin at Suskin Management and with attorney Robert Offer.

who did she fire at gersh? i know she was with that dreadful girl whose name i cant remember, but i think moved to ken kaplan, who is a good agent.
Let’s not forget that that “dreadful girl” put Levy on the map. Criticize what you will, but give credit where it is due.
Now WME has BOTH Emma Stones!
Good get … solid actress.
This girl is gonna be a HUGE star. Great talent..and unconventionally beautiful.
It’s not exactly “unconventional beauty” when she’s a poor man’s Emma Stone, is it? She’ll spend her entire career getting Stone’s hand me downs, regardless of what agency she goes to. In fact, wouldn’t put it past WME to have signed Levy to keep her from competing with Stone
Excellent little actress.
What are you doing James Suskin? Do you not remember taking John Krasinski to CAA to only get squeezed out a couple months later? Then you set her up with an agent who was at CAA until like two months ago. Within six months she’ll be with Untitled or 360.
Talking with a top producer about the lousy state of TV, he brought Jane up out of the blue as an exciting talent, and I couldn’t agree more. At first I had a hard time believing that creepy Billy from “Six Feet Under” was going to be funny, but he is, it’s a terrific cast all around, and she’s the focal point.
Suburgatory is fantastic and hopefully it really takes off after Modern Family. Wish she would go back on twitter. Her set photos and non sequiturs were fun to follow.
I like Suburgatory. It’s is funny.
She’s fantastic and was a stand out. She’s gonna go far.
