Like a gypsy wedding which can go on for days, the festivities surrounding the 64th Primetime Emmy Awards are kicking into high gear and will make for a busy week leading into Emmy night on Sunday. Here is a list of the pre- and post-Emmy bashes. Notably missing is the Entertainment Tonight Emmy After Party as the celebrity newsmagazine is putting an end to a decade-old tradition (and some great gift bags). Speaking of an end of an era, NBC’s pre-Emmy party is moving from its long-time home at Spago to Boa. (Note: This list was originally posted last Sunday)

Hollywood parties are so fun, everyone is so hip yet edgy. I need a +1 to all of these.
UTA…way to go…save some $$$ and have a lame party, limit the guest list and host it at a partner’s house. haha. Not as bad as ICM’s “brunch” but still very poor.
Is everybody supposed to be invited to WME party — all tv writing clients? Or just nominees? show runners? actors? What about to CAA and UTA?
Hey insider, I think being invited to someone’s home is way chicer than a restaurant. Also, as a veteran of a ton of these, the packed restaurant thing is a little over. And yes I am going to this party. And I am excited.
Agreed.
So, when – if ever – will I get invited? LOL. Maybe never. The restaurant parties are chaos and no one you meet ever returns calls or exchanges email chatter… unless they want something from you. Oh, that’s SO HOLLYWOOD.
No more restaurants or huge gatherings… a waste of time.
Oh boy lets all go be a hanger on for the night
ugh Id rather play tennis, get a massage and roll
I’ll be working during the Emmy’s, but I’m glad I have the Prime Time Anytime feature on my new Hopper to catch it for me. I work a lot of hours at DISH, but I learned my PTAT would automatically record every prime time show, on all four major networks, every weeknight. It’s very easy to use, and I love that I don’t have to set 50 individual timers for all the shows we watch. Now, if I could just get into one of those awesome after parties…..
Sept 24, 2012- The parties leading up to the emmys , and the after parties right after the primetime emmys 2012 are the way to celebrate . There was no means of entertainment , no live band or singer. Unlike the golden globes , the academy awards they always the great parties to attend. It was sad to see ” Nicole Kidman” and Clive Owen” not win an emmy for “Hemingway and Gelhorn”. I don’t “Julianne Moore’s performance in “Game Change” was that note worthy. Although “Game Change”, having won best tv movie/ miniseries doesn’t surprise me. I hope “Nicole Kidman” receives a “golden globe” nomination for Jan 2013 golden globes . She is a wonderful actress and should win. I ‘m voting for “Michael Douglas” and “Matt Damon” to win a golden globe Jan 2013, for the tv movie ” behind the candleabra” . There both extrodinary actors. My favorites dresses at the emmys this year were: Nicole Kidman’s dress, which I liked and she looked beautiful as always. “Hayden Pantiere ” in Marchesa simply stunning, “Heidi Klum” in Alexander Vaultier beautiful , she did the leg thing like “Angelina Jolie”, ” Lucy Lui” in Versace stunningly beautiful, Zooey Deschanel in ReMacra -this dress was beautiful. There were other winners on the red carpet: “Julianne Hough”‘s dress gorgeous, “Morena Baccarin” in Basil Soda very nice, another favorite “Sofia Vergara” in Zuhair Murad – this dress was simply gorgeous. There were the misses- Glenn Close’s dress not a hit , I’m not a fan of “Juliana Margolise dress , I think “Jimmy Kimmel” did a fanstastic job hosting the emmys. I’m not sure why he had “Tracey Morgan” lying on the floor. It was kinda silly when you think about. I see that “Niki Minaj” came to the emmy’s , she didn’t know how to dress for the award show.”James Van Der bek” look hot, “Jimmy Fallon ” always looks hot. When he hosted the emmys in 2010 , the opening number where he wore a pair of red tab Levis jeans which I love. I looked for along time at the Levis , and thought nice. “Damian Lewis” is irresibly handsome.
