If we cared only a half as much about these people at the Emmy’s cared about themselves, they’d all be hugely successful and twice as wealthy. Narcissim on dislay. I can’t tell you how bored most of us are. Oh, and btw, you can now give more in taxes than you’re required, so hey, Hollywood, forego your next nip and tuck and send it in to the IRS.
Say this for Hollywood, though: most of us can actually spell narcissism.
Anne, why so bitter?
Jon Stewart. Again. Modern Family. Again. Superior entertainment like Hatfields & McCoys lost to a HBO liberal handjob movie like that Sarah Palin thing. That figures. Why do they even do this show every year? They can only do one every five years or so and just rerun it, because that’s all it is.
someone at the emmys made a mistake. Why else would they award all those prizes to Homeland when there are far more deserving winners like Breaking Bad, Mad Men and Game of Thrones.
They awarded Mad Men 4 consecutive times. They awarded Breaking Bad’s Bryan Cranston 3 consecutive times. Homeland is a superb drama and it deserve it’s wins.
Glad to have missed it.
Been watching mad men for years. Interesting now, but peaked long ago. Cultural superiority has worn off. Breaking Bad is brill but the thriil of Walter’s moral implosion in is, sadly, last season, has been swept away by the ambition hugeness and dazzling twists on the large scale we saw on homeland last season. Something more brave and daring: facing what we are frightened of not through gangsters or zombies. Our real fears through great story and characters.
homeland
Sherlock got SCREWED! Instead they give the emmys to a crappy biopic starring Old Fart Moore.
Who the hell dressed Claire Danes? Haven’t seen that bad an outfit since Carol Burnett wore drapes – and that looked great compared to Claire!
