It’s an early holiday gift from Sin City. CBS Films and Good Universe’s Last Vegas will be hitting theatres on December 20, 2013. The comedy about four friends who throw a bachelor party in Las Vegas for the last of the gang to remain single packs a lot of seasoned star power. Michael Douglas and Robert DeNiro star, with the former playing the remaining bachelor among the pals. Kevin Kline is also in the cast and Morgan Freeman stars as well. The guys are joined by Mary Steenburgen as a lounge singing love interest for both Douglas and DeNiro’s characters. Jon Turteltaub directs from an original screenplay by Dan Fogelman. Laurence Mark and Amy Baer are producing, with Good Universe’s Nathan Kahane executive producing. Matt Leonetti will co-produce. Filming is set to start later this month in Atlanta and Las Vegas.

Bachelor party in Vegas. Yawn. How many times has that been done before?
Yawn. Is anybody under 50 gonna see this movie? Smells like another CBS Films flop that will come and go.
Bachelor Party in Vegas… starring Michael Douglas and Robert DeNiro?
What?
Michael Douglas playing a bachelor? He’s what, 65? What is this, The Hangover Meets Cocoon?
What is this, The Hangover Meets Cocoon?
LOL-I was thinking the same thing! It might work though ’cause there’s lots of great acting talent involved. I’m way younger than its expected audience but I’m game for this movie. Also, I think Douglas just played a 65 year old “bachelor” but that was Liberace.
hahahahah!
Are you guys serious? This is going to make bank. High concept, strong writer, killer cast, cross over appeal. This will strike a cord with audience ala Red
I hope you are right!!
HMMMMMM…. NOT SURE WHAT ALL NEGATIVITY IS ABOUT, THIS IS SURE TO BE A JACKPOT OF A MOVIE. I CAN’T WAIT TO SEE IT, MAYBE I SHOULD START WALKING NOW SO I CAN MAKE IT TO THE MOVIE’S OPENING WEEKEND ON DEC 2013.
Are you going to use your walker to get to the theatre? This movie is for the Geritol crowd.
High time the glorious Mary Steenburgen was given the romantic lead in a mainstream movie . . . Michael Douglas (born in 1944) is twice the actor his 96-year-old dad ever tried to be (Kirk would have been a better choice to play Liberace). . . But can Kevin Kline tone down his narcissism? . . . And is DeNiro capable of showing he can still act instead of merely dropping by to pick up his pay check? Still, a 50/50 chance of success is a much more promising score than most films in pre-production (0/100). Let’s wait and see before passing premature judgment.
Mary Steenburgen was the romantic lead in Back to the Future Part III…
Anyways, love that she’s been getting more exposure in the last 7 or so years. She deserves it.
I would like to know, who or what agency will handle the Outdoor marketing for this film.
We had the pleasure of participating in this movie, for one of the picture car scenes (Billboard Truck)
