Last month, when I reported that Chloe Moretz was in talks to star in The Wilderness Of James, an indie film coming-of-age tale that was scripted by first-time director Michael Johnson, I mentioned the deal was contingent on the schedule of the young actress after she signed on for Kick-Ass 2: Balls To The Wall. Well, Moretz has had to drop out of the project, and it has turned into a great opportunity for Isabelle Fuhrman, who has just signed to take her place.
Fuhrman, who’s repped by CAA and Management 360, gets the gig after completing the M. Night Shyamalan-directed After Earth, opposite Will Smith and Jaden Smith. Set in Portland, Wilderness Of James is about a young boy dealing with absence of his father. Johnson wrote the script. Fuhrman plays the role of Val opposite Kodi Smitt-McPhee. Super Crispy is producing the low-budget indie and shooting is scheduled to begin next month. Nicholas Frenkel and Glenn Howarton are exec producing.

Two great young actors. Fuhrmann though hopefully gets some of the exposure Moretz has received.
My best friend is in this movie!!
