For a second night in a row, everything was back to normal in the cable news world. Like Wednesday, Fox News Channel was No. 1 in primetime viewers and adults 25-54 yesterday. MSNBC came in second and CNN was third. FNC drew 2.7 million total viewers last night, with 542,000 in the 25-54 demo, and MSNBC had 1.6 million total viewers with 451,000 in the demo. The MSNBC numbers were down from the surge it saw Monday and Tuesday when, helped by its blanket coverage of the secret Mitt Romney tape, it took the top spot both nights. With Piers Morgan Tonight and Anderson Cooper 360, CNN pulled in 616,000 total viewers in primetime Thursday, 184,000 among adults 25-54. MSNBC was the only network to see a week-over-week gain in total viewers (11,000).
The No. 1 show Thursday was The O’Reilly Factor with 3.4 million total viewers and 645,000 in 25-54. After record-breaking 25-54 numbers Tuesday, MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow and Laurence O’Donnell dipped Thursday.

Of course they are number one. The news they make up is far more entertaining then the real news. I just picked up my iPhone with a laser keyboard and holographic imaging per their recommendation
Here’s the deal the other news networks are not aware of the obvious! Sex sells, dugh.
Someone should fire the executives of those other networks.
I’m a democrat through and through. But, in the morning what would you rather get your news from? The other square networks with women dressed head to toe like they are in a church or Fox news that has women in the shortest mini-skirts, low cut tops, and all forms of revealing clothes… I thought so!
CNN and MSNBC are run by a bunch of squares who should be running 1950′s TV.
Yeah, I know Fox news is full of it with their one side republican views, but I’ll put up with it since watching the other networks are like being in a boring match class. lol
The “obvious” about having eye candy has eluded the other news networks to the point that the other news networks have become a laughing stock when it comes to ratings. Again, the heads of CNN and MSNBC need to be fired for not caring about ratings.
Let the dumbing down of America continue without interruption!
Watching FOXNews is a voluntary process started some 20 years ago by the big dog CNN. If people don’t want to watch they likely have a few hundred other channels out there.
CNN and MSNBC can catch up by also hiring supermodel wannabes as news anchors.
Your’re right, everyone on MSNBC and CNN is ugly.
Kim Guilfoyle…megyn kelly..cheryl casone…andrea canteros..etc
..agree! They could take turns reading world wheat prices and I`d listen.
