Fox is trying to give The X Factor an extra push with encore telecasts from 8-9 PM on Fridays for the next three weeks: September 28, October 5 and October 12. As a result, Gordon Ramsay’s Kitchen Nightmares, which was set to premiere its new season September 28 and run in the 8-9 Pm slot, will be rescheduled later in the season. This is not the first time a Ramsay reality series has been pushed from the Friday 8 PM hour. His newest Fox series, Hotel Hell, was slated to premiere there in the spring but was postponed until summer to make room for The Finder. The Friday 8-9 PM slot is regularly used by the broadcast networks, especially ABC and NBC, to rerun new series during the first few weeks of the season for additional sampling.

I hope this dont hurt fringe ratings.
I was also waithing for KM; can’t stand X-factor.
As for Fringe ratings, it’s canceled anyway so it doesn’t matter.
I’m thinking this will actually be good for Fringe! There can’t be any less crossover between X-Factor and Fringe than Kitchen Nightmares and Fringe
Is FOX truly that desperate to garner ratings for this sinking ship of a show? I admit Ramsey’s shows are bad enough but to install X Factor reruns now? Can one say overkill?

I have heard uncorrobaorated rumors about the Monday timeslot as well; it seems many of Ramsay’s shows do better there as well when you look at the ratings with Hotel Hell and Hell ‘s Kitchen. Even with MasterChef on Tuesdays it did better than KN was historically on Friday. But overall this season of CF sucks so it could be an attempt to push ratings and viewers, but I didn’t think repeats went into the overall factoring in that — maybe Fox does. Anyway it is delayed indefinitely for now but will air at some point this season…..

I have waited too long as it is for the new season of Kitchen Nightmares. Fox couldn’t do this to another show? X factor should be taking a back seat to kitchen Nightmares! Who watches the Finder? I never even heard of it! WTF!
very disappointed with Fox, love all of Gordon Ramseys shows and have been so excited waiting for the premiere of Kitchen Nightmares. The X Factor is not worth the time slot, guess I am watching another channel tonight!
This really does stink. Me, the hubby and kids love to sit in front of the fire on Friday nights and watch Kitchen Nightmares. We were all ready for the premier tonight and now it’s not happening? This blows.
I think the science channel picked up the series. There making new episodes.
