Liv Tyler To Co-Star In Damon Lindelof’s HBO Pilot

I like the cast. Probably will not see it in theatres but buy a blu-ray in 3 months.
That’s going to be one loud movie–and I’m not talking about the guns and explosions!
HOOHAH
Nothing is more exciting to movie lovers than when distributors announce a dumping-ground January release date of a star-studded movie. I’m sure this one will be awesome, though.
What are those two old coots shooting at? The future? That photo depicts exactly what is wrong with US film… Who gives a crap about the action adventure of guys in their 70s? I’d be more inclined to watch a film that deals honestly with aging, regret and the triumph of a well lived life. I couldn’t care less that Serpico caught another bad guy… or that Walken out-quirked another quirky heavy. Yawn.
Well, I guess it’s at least in part a comedy, so let’s give it a chance. Worked okay for Analyze This a while back. Last Vegas might (maybe) not suck too. People are sometimes too quick to condemn movies before a single trailer or test screenign has taken place.
I saw this at a Sherman Oaks test screening a few months ago and it is so great. Performances are Oscar calibre. I’m sure they’ll probably be doing a qualifying run. Pacino is BACK.
Thanks for the review, studio plant!
Let the clichéd lines fly!
I thought Walken hated guns.
I wonder how that went…
Was it impossible to find a publicity frame where Walken actually looked tough holding his gun? He looks like a fragile old man holding a gun he’s afraid to fire.
Studio plant? I wish, I work at the PF Changs in the mall. Stop by and see me, I’ll give you a free coke.
True or not, my favorite retort of 2012.
