After getting to pilot stage at ABC last season with a comedy from 20th Century Fox TV and 21 Laps/Adelstein, Mandy Moore has reunited with the studio and Levy and Marty Adelstein’s studio-based company for a new comedy project. Titled Miss Most Likely, the project, written by Rich Appel, again has landed at ABC, where it has received substantial penalty in a competitive situation. It stars Moore as the first 28-year-old to run away from home to the big city so she can finally start the life she’s always wanted. Unfortunately for her, her family decides to run away with her. The Cleveland Show co-creator/executive producer Appel will executive produce with Moore, Adelstein, Levy and Becky Clements. ABC has been high on Moore, repped by WME and Ziffren, and kept her project last year in serious consideration for a series pickup in large part because of her appeal. In addition to Cleveland Show, WME-repped Appel also has worked on Family Guy and American Dad!, collaborating with Seth MacFarlane.

I Love You Mandy! Kisses from Italy! I can’t wait for your new album!
Saw Mandy live in concert at the Ghostbar on the 55th floor of the Palms Hotel-Casino in Vegas years ago during the Magic fashion convention. She can sing, act and design her own clothing line. Good for her.
When is ABC going to quit trying to make Mandy Moore happen?
Love Mandy Moore, ever since she was a talented young girl in our kids’ shows at the IceHouse community theatre in Mt. Dora, FL. I knew she would be a huge star the day I met her little 10 year old phenomenal self, as she sang the doors off the place at an audition. Almost fell out of my chair. She even made me a little wooden model of the theatre that I still have. Big hugs to her — (btw, Mandy, now I’m runnin’ this place. Come on down for a visit and star in a big musical of your choice! LOL.) Miss your face, Darlin.
Appel is one UNFUNNY dude. That’s for sure.
Mandy Moore is a talentless singer and actress. I cannot believe that she’s going to get a TV series.
