This already is the best sitcom or reality show around. The NFL replacement refs may even exclipse the start of the Fall Primetime Season for comedy of errors. If you missed Monday’s hilarity, the Seahawks beat Green Bay 14-12. But after a Hail Mary pass, two replacement refs standing side by side made opposite calls. Meanwhile, here’s my favorite tweet about last night:
@AlbertBrooks: Oh my God. I just realized I know the ref that made the call tonight. He’s my accountant.

They shouldn’t have let those Footlocker employees be NFL refs.
SNL made a VERY similar Footlocker joke over the weekend.
The multi-billion dollar NFL brand has been severely tarnished and last night was the icing on the cake. With each passing game the sports leadership position earned and enjoyed by the NFL is at risk as NFL credibility and product willow under the current situation.
No matter what happens…it will take a long time (if ever) for the NFL to recover especially as fan attendance has already been dropping as the game is becoming too costly.
The players union should walk out and not return until the real NFL officials have resolved their problems and return…but, that won’t happen.
Monday nights game was a embearasment to all. Incompence has run a muck. The NFL has become classless and irresponsible by employing zebra’s that belong in a zoo.
FYI the term is “run amok.”
As is true with most things in life: you get what you pay for.
The very 1st MNF Game my Son goes to & it’s going to be the absolute most Contraversial Game in All of NFL’s History.
I watched the game on TV & I couldn’t believe what I was seeing. Funny thing too is, I called it 30 seconds before it happened. I said the Seahawks are going to Win from a Flukey TD & Flukey it was.
I think the Ref that called the Interception thought the other Ref was going to call Interception too bcuz the Interception was just that Obvious.
Unfortunately the 1 Ref Didn’t Wave His Arms in the Motion of an Interception while the other Ref did…
But hey, having my Son there with Dany Heatley, all the way from Kelowna BC Canada, there’s absolutely No Better Game I would’ve wanted Him to See Live! Thanks Dany for Inviting my Son.
I am saddened though for the GB Packers bcuz really it was Their game & really GB WON!!!
Sorry GB for what happened to You but hey, You Guyz Know the TRUTH and the TRUTH Will Set You FREE!!! Keep Your Chins Up Boyz bcuz the rest of the World Knows the TRUTH too!
And good on You GB for having the Strength/Courage to come back onto the field for the Extra Point Kick…
Well if Unions weren’t so god damn greedy, this wouldn’t be an issue.
The NFL is run by the self-styled “makers,” AKA Oligarchs. They don’t want employees, they want serfs. They think of the fans as “takers” who deserve nothing and should shut up and take what’s given them.
Sounds a lot like the Republican Party.
I saw that play
Good going Jane Skinner little b****
‘Speechless in Seattle’
ESPN’s broadcast of this game will likely wind-up being the most-watched program of the night, even though it went against numerous premieres on the opening night of the broadcast network prime-time TV season.
