E! has found a permanent replacement for Ryan Seacrest on E! News. Terrence Jenkins, until recently the co-host of BET’s 106 & Parkvideo countdown show, will join Giuliana Rancic as co-anchor of E! News starting Nov. 12. Jenkins, who had previously used the name Terrance J, will also work on personality profiles and will report for the news program. Jenkins’ hire comes on the heels of the appointment of Jason Kennedy and Catt Sadler as co-anchors of E! News Weekend.
Seacrest has served as co-anchor of E! News since 2006 but he only occasionally hosted the telecast lately as his career as a TV personality and producer took off. Seacrest’s wide-reaching April deal with NBCUniversal gave him new roles at the broadcast network while scaling back on his hosting of E! News. “Having Giuliana and Terrence for the weeknight program, and Jason and Catt for weekends, gives us a quartet of skilled, popular broadcast journalists and will give viewers a fun, fresh look at pop culture news,” said E! President of Network Strategy and E! News Cyndi McClellan.

Jason Kennedy is a very good friend of mine and he has no reason to be pissed, he will be taking over ENews weekends and he is hosting a daily web show on E and basically he has a much better deal than Terrence. And you dont know why Jason wasnt picked so you shouldnt go there.

I agree. TMZ, ET, Access Hollywood are all much better programs than a cable networks rendition of it.

Wha! No Jason Kennedy?! The only reason to watch the show, and Guiana of course. They were a better team than this guy. Jason has been great. Big mistake E. Big mistake. Not to mention this Terrance person talks like he’s from a place they taught ghetto talk. Not cute. So sick of hearing people talk like assholes.
I love Jason Kennedy and Giuliana Rancic as well. But I think we should give Terrence Jenkins a chance. That was not a nice thing to say about his speech…some people may think that is being a stereotype racist thing to say. I feel if people do not have anything nice to say do not say anything at all just keep it to yourself. But once again I wish it could be JK And Gi Gi co hosting together again, but I am pretty sure they know what they are trying to do with the turn around of E news. Hope you guys have a wonderful day.

I miss Ryan as co-host! Jason Kennedy should have been given the job. I don’t care for Terrance. He seems to say inappropriate comments too often. I love Giuliana. SHe is so down to earth & real, but he isn’t a good match at all. I hope they replace him as he isn’t funny and doesn’t fit in.

Honestly, I was getting pretty tired of watching JK. He comes off pretty arrogant and an obvious need to be cool. I’ve watched him on his spin-off side show a couple of times and couldn’t believe how he was condescending to the other hosts. He’s where he belongs for now, on the weekends.
