Today was a big day in daytime as a slew of talk shows premiered, including three new talk shows: Katie, Jeff Probst and Ricki Lake. We’ll have to wait until tomorrow to see how they all did in the ratings, but in the stunt department, it was the season premiere of CBS‘ The Talk that produced the most memorable clip, featuring its hosts “makeup-free.” You can see the before-after shots for each of the hosts in the video below. There was some cheating — Sharon Osbourne admitted that she wears some permanent makeup and, looking fresher-faced than most of her co-hosts who are at least a decade younger, she did did quip that her face was “bought and paid for.” But overall, it was an interesting stint that will likely never be repeated.

I’m not a fan of the show, but I applaud them for doing it.
Even though Kathy Lee and Hoda already did this 7 months ago?
I watched this show, this one should have been done around Halloween. Whatever they’re paying their make-up people…it’s not enough!
I’m ashamed of you. Grow up.
Eh eh, the boy have an opinion, let him speak!
LOL
That was fun. I actually just started watching this show on occasion. Takes a lot of nerve when you’re used to being in full makeup to go without!!
I’m with Yekimi…some of those women were hideous. They better pray that the world never has a shortage of spray-on spackle!
Applaud them for what? Not wearing makeup? BFD! Aisha Tyler never needs makeup. Hottie
It’s shocking at first…but the more I watched of the video, the more I think they look better than when they have all the makeup on. Good for them, doing this.
I’m a little biased. Aisha still looks beautiful naturally.
Aunt Rose
SWEET MERCIFUL FATHER! WHAT DID I DO TO DESERVE SEEING THAT!
I applaud those women, good for them!!! I thought it was great and very brave of them!!
Sarah Gilbert just looks like she did on Rosanne, totally adorable.
At first I was angry at the people with negative comments, but you know what? Please make your negative comments if that’s how you feel. It’ll help the rest of us know your face value and filter you out of our lives without wasting more than the time it takes to read your crap.
