All the cable networks and rival morning shows Good Morning America on ABC and CBS This Morning carried the moment of silence this morning to commemorate the 11th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks. President Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama led the moment from Washington. TVNewser says, though, that NBC’s Today instead aired its interview with Kris Jenner of Keeping Up With The Kardashians fame in which she discussed her breast implants. In New York, the NBC local station did break in to the interview to carry special coverage of the event at the World Trade Center site, where NY police and firemen, the Port Authority and the families of victims were in attendance.

This just tells you that Reality TV Celeb interviews are more important to NBC and its ratings, they would rather forget about the events of 9/11. If only everyone would adopt the George Costanza principle of doing everything the opposite, this country would be a better place to live in.
Reality TV is a waste of your precious time, when you could be spending quality time with your family and friends, or coming up with a new business idea, to get you out of this financial mess we are all in.
So shocking I don’t believe it… I guess 9-11 didn’t affect anybody outside of NY.
The Today Show is filmed in the heart of NYC, grit. If anyone should be sensitive to 9/11, it’s the employees at 30 Rockefeller Plaza.

I have always been a die hard Today Show fan, but MAN they’re making it rough. First the idiot that is Sarah Palin, then the sloppy exodus of Ann Curry (I’m not even a fan, and that was bad), now this? Guess it’s back to ABC for a while… even without Robin Roberts, it’s a better morning show…. So sad. How the mighty have fallen.
Sarah Palin is not even remotely part of NBC or the Today Show’s problems. If anything, she was a bright spot in an otherwise dismal display of ineptitude and gross bias …and she’s laughing her way all the way to the bank. She played the left to the hilt and came out a millionaire.
Way to keep it classy, NBC. You seem to be going out of your way to create reasons for people not to like you… Well done!

Regardless of whether or not people are tired of 9/11 stuff as you say it was totally inappropriate of NBC to show Kris Kardashian talking about her boobs. The only reason that MORON BOOB was on the air was because she convinced Ryan Seacrest and the NBC affiliates that people would be interested in her most recent surgery. The truth is that the MORON Kris Jenner’s family would not give her the attention she wanted after having her boob job so she went to Seacrest another MORON and he had NBC feature her. Sadly no one is interested in this whacked out narcissitic MORON! NBC you get a big fat F from me and a whole lot of other people!
It would have been great for Today to observe the moment of silence as other stations did, but i am WAY more tired of people hating on the Kardashians than I am of the actual Kardashians. At least the family entertains. You guys just regurgitate insults about a family whose show you dont watch.

Among the poignant topics Jenner discussed: the decision to film her breast implant replacement surgery and air a family therapy session on “Keeping Up with the Kardashians.” The interview was to plug the season finale of the family’s reality series.
After the Jenner interview, “Today” went straight into an interview with actor Richard Gere.
