• Hollywood has had a rough year at the box-office (granted, the theatre massacre near Denver was probably the major reason for the steep decline in theatre attendance since mid-July), so “Breaking Dawn Part 2″ may be an indicator of whether things can turn around, whether the box-office decline is caused by the economy or by people rebelling against higher 3-D ticket prices, or if this is a long-term structural decline caused by people preferring to see DVD and Blu-Ray releases in “home theatre” set-ups (large screen, surround sound, etc.) at home.
