ABC‘s Shark Tank is the latest series to get its season supersized as networks are loading up on originals of the series that work. And Shark Tank, whose order has been upped from 22 to 24 episodes, is the epitome of that. The entrepreneurial show has been on fire this fall, ranking as the No. 1 program on Friday night among adults 18-49, hitting series highs in both 18-49 (2.0/7) and total viewers (7 million) this past Friday. It also boosted ABC to a season high in both categories. The Sony TV/Mark Burnett-produced Shark Tank joins fellow ABC series Grey’s Anatomy, Modern Family and The Middle, which also have received orders for two extra episodes each for 24 total, and Castle, whose season has been expanded to 23 episodes.

Shark Tank is OK, but it will Never hold a candle to the original UK/Canadian “Dragon’s Den” (Even if they’re using 2/5ths of the Canadian “Dragons”.)
Hooray! This show is great. I love that the sharks are getting more and more agitated with each show, haha.
I love this show. Much better than Dragon’s Den. Marc Cuban was a great addition.
I’ll say this…as long as those who are presenting their inventions do not get intimidated by these know it all “sharks”, they can fight back against them and at times, tell them to shove it up their rear ends, then that’s what makes the show more viable, instead of these assclown “sharks” controlling everything.
I think this show is a big improvement on Dragon’s Den.
When will these budding entrepreneurs with good track records realize that their best move is to get a commercial loan?
