Diane Kruger and Anton Yelchin will star in the Victor Levin-directed romantic comedy 5 To 7, a project to be shopped at AFM by The Solution Entertainment Group. The plan is to begin production February in New York. Yelchin plays an aspiring novelist in a tryst with the beautiful wife of a french diplomat. Levin, whose work includes Mad Men, wrote the script.

Love the Inglourious Basterd Diane Kruger; she’s great. Feel that Anton is kind of stale though, not much range. He’s like the dramatic Michael Cera playing the same part over and over again– he’s going to fizzle out soon.
I’m a big fan of Anton Yelchin, so I’m interesting to see him in more mature roles like this
Watching Kruger act, is less interesting that watching paint dry. I do not see this woman, who comes off cold and distant on-screen, in a romantic comedy. Clearly this news was released to get more financing but I don’t think having these two leads cast the way they were will help that cause.
I like the project, looks interesting especially because Anton Yelchin is in it and he is one of my favorite young actor. Waiting for more information.
