The same day President Obama will be on The Daily Show With Jon Stewart, Ann Romney is set to sit down for the first time on The View, ABC announced today. The next day, Michelle Obama will be on Live With Kelly And Michael for a fourth time. The First Lady will tape her October 19 appearance on October 17 in New York. Both shows air on ABC affiliates in LA and much of Southern California.

Despite previous promises, Mitt Romney will not be joining his wife on The View. Last month, co-host Elisabeth Hasselbeck read out on air “the Romneys would once again love to join the sharp-tongued chatter in October.” Today Walters said on the show, “Well, he can change his mind and we hope he does. It would be our pleasure to have him on the program.” The Obamas made their first joint appearance on The View on September 25 to high ratings. Mitt Romney has been on the show before, a fact he called “high-risk” in the now-infamous secret video of him talking at a private fundraiser this year.

Ann Romney’s visit comes two days her husband and Obama square off in their second Presidential debate. She has become a TV ambassador for the Republican campaign recently, also helping co-host Good Morning America last week and making her debut last month on The Tonight Show.
