EXCLUSIVE: I’ve learned that Summit Entertainment will report that first day advance ticket sales for Breaking Dawn – Part 2 are outpacing Part 1. Tickets went on sale Monday and grosses already are shattering Twilight Saga films as the last in the series gets ready to release November 16th. In comparison to Part 1, Summit’s first day total for Part 2 advance ticket sales is 87% higher. (Part 1 came in at $626K; Part 2 at $1.17 million). Over a quarter of all tickets sold yesterday were from moviegoers snapping up tickets for ‘The Twilight Saga Marathon’ show which offers fans the chance to screen all of the films in the franchise on November 15th before the release of the final installment. Summit’s first day total for Part 2 is already running ahead of the three-day cume for Part 1. The conclusion to the Twilight Saga franchise stars Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner as Bella, Edward, and Jacob. The film based on the 4th novel in author Stephenie Meyer’s Twilight series was written by Melissa Rosenberg, directed by Bill Condon, with Wyck Godfrey, Karen Rosenfelt and Stephenie Meyer producing.

It’s a pity,because if BD2 would’ve bombed at box office Rupert and Kristen(and their scandal)would’ve been blamed for this.So maybe he wouldn’t get a job in Hollywood,this would be the best punishment for him.Kristen punished herself enough,she droped Cali and Snow White 2.

Re: lil comment. I guess you dont stay up with the media. SW2 is still in the writing stages and she was not dropped. The Cali director said he was not making the movie with out Kristen. So therefore she was NOT Dropped.

im a romantic at heart and wish stephnie would continue the saga.
i would love to see the volturi taken down and just some daily life of them being a vampire family and bella going to college or something and almost attacking lots of possible senerios. come on stephanie.
on another note. why is renesmee older in the movie? she is a toddler when this goes down if i read correctly. I usually re-read the book before the movie comes out. she is very beautiful ,and i guess to have her say lines she needed to be older.
I am so sad that this is the end . Unlessss…. stephanie gets her brain on straight and can see the potential. If they change the actors then i’m not interested in the movie though, but a book would be great. can’t change the actors because for me it wouldn’t be the same.
I couldn’t agree more!! With such devoted fans- one can only hope that Stephanie Meyer has a conscious & decides to reload!! It’s looking more promising as of the past week with Meyer saying “that she can see where the character story lines could go,” so to me that says “The Twilight Saga The Life of Jacob Black & Renesme Cullen.”
If you recall in the final book- Remesme is growing at such a rapid pace that everyone is worried for her & afraid that she may grow too fast into old age. That is the reason that Bella has plans to search all over the world to find another hybrid vampire/human child,but her efforts to do that is interrupted by the oncoming horror of the Volturi-”when the snow sticks to the ground,” which could represent seasons & with that no specific time frame is given.. Though in the book Bella is hoping that Renesme will have a similar growth pattern to Jacob-to grow quickly to an adult & then plateau at that age. Hope this helps

I really hope Stephanie rethink her career choice here! Bella’s strength in this series has been her individuality! Now that she is able to hold off the best the Volturi has to offer I would love to see her get stronger and really pose a treat to them!
