ABC says President Obama will sit down next week with Diane Sawyer in his first national interview following Wednesday night’s debate. Portions of the interview will air on Wednesday, October 10 on ABC World News, the eve of the vice presidential debate. Sawyer’s extended interview with the President will air later this month as a part of Portrait Of A President, a special series of reports that will take a closer look at the two men running for President. Sawyer anchored special Portrait Of A President reports of Sen. John McCain and then Sen. Barack Obama in 2008.

I’m sure she’ll ask the tough questions, like what breed dog is your favorite snack. I wonder how many times she’ll say, “How do you feel about…”, fill in blank.
While I don’t a Presidential Debate is about which candidate won, nevertheless, President Obama definitely did not do himself any great justice with his debate “performance” on Wednesday. He needs to be sat down and spoken to – but NOT by Diane Sawyer.
“Mr. President: Dogs or cats?”
“Mr. Obama, who would you pick for your partner if you were on Dancing with the Stars?”
“Mr. President, what is your favorite holiday?”
“Mr. President, why do you think Gov. Romney wants women and children to starve in the streets?”
Should be enlightening!
