The Five had the best viewership numbers in its 15-month history last night. Talking about the second presidential debate, Fox News Channel’s multi-host show pulled in 2.5 million total viewers Wednesday, with 576,000 in the adults 25-54 demographic. That’s an all-time high for a full hour of the show. Fox News finished No. 1 in the cable rankings in the 5 PM ET hour (Nickelodeon was second with just more than 2.1 million total viewers; MSNBC, which aired Hardball With Chris Matthews, was fifth with 1.3 million total viewers and 353,000 adults 25-54). The Five’s previous record came September 14, when the show drew 2.48 million viewers and 538,000 in the demo. The Five is hosted by Andrea Tantaros, Bob Beckel, Eric Bolling, former White House Press Secretary Dana Perino and Greg Gutfeld. Kimberly Guilfoyle, and Juan Williams appear as hosts as well.

Somehow I watched the five last night. I thought the show was a parody. The Phil Hendrie show on Television.
I LOVE The Five at Five! They’re awesome. I even like liberal democrat Bob Beckel.
Only show on Fox I will not watch. I hate Bob Beckel and think he brings down the whole show. I am all for opposing view points, but he is just an angry, hateful person!

Exactly. Watchable people with generally-interesting commentary. Beckel’s clueless about America’s soul and history, but I’d have a beer with him. And the show certainly benefits from Andrea Tantaros – very smart, and the best legs on TV.

Very entertaining and informative political discussions by a great panel. Funny, bright hosts who play well together. Wish it could be the “Four”. I guess Bob must be OK but lobs are irritating to me
Great show. Eric, Dana, Greg, Andrea, and Bob make for a great roundtable. Love to see them succeed. Mainstream media is lousy and totally untrustworthy. MSM can only lie.
MSNBC (not MSM), you mean, of course. It’s nothing but a front for the Democrat Party. Intelligent viewers want the truth and find it on FNC. The FIVE is the most AWESOME show on TV with an awesome cast!
You forgot my age group in your poll 55 and up. I’m 71 and voted already. I know a lot of seniors watch the five, so please don’t forget us next time, we do carry a lot of votes. We love them too always a breath of fresh air.
If Fox News is the #1 cable news network in America, doesn’t that make them MAINSTREAM? How long can they–and its audience–keep screaming “liberal bias”?
I was a huge skeptic when this show was launched. It was supposed to be a summer fill in when another show, which I think was Glenn Becks old show, went off the air and I did not expect it to have “legs”. But I have been pleasantly surprised and often very surprised when, for example Beckel and Perino agree. Gutfeld is hilarious. They manage to get all points of view in and keep it upbeat, informative and civil. I am really surprised that this mix of personalities works as well as it does.
The FIVE is the best program on television. I agree with all the positive comments above. Eric, Andrea, Dana, Kimberly…amazing to find such brilliance combined with such wholesome attractivness, common (uncommon, really) sense, and congeniality! Brian and Bob are great seasoning to the group.
Whoever is responsible for the hiring and talent selection at FNC really knows how to pick ‘em! I’ve often said that we could form a FAR BETTER (than at present)government of these United States,just from staff and contributors at Fox News! President Huckabee or Gingrich, Sec. of State John Bolton, Dana Perino as anything she wants, etc. Even the “liberals” are lovable…Kirsten Powers & Bob Beckel.

I’m in the same demographic and never miss The Five. Great people (I have several friends like Bob), great minds, great discussions. I plan my day around that show.
Great show for reinforcing the same closed-minded ideologies, much like every else on Fox.
Five is like the view on steroids……maybe if they stretched out on a couch and appeared a little more relaxed as oppose to looking like a lot of folks who are anti bob the show might have some class.

I love watching. I live in in the central US so they are on at 4 and the other viewing options are crap. Lately, everyone has been hard on BB. What’s up with that? You need to have an opposing view. Finally, probably everyone says this, but WOW GG sure seems to have to it bad for DP (and I mean he likes her).
Bob Beckal does not get any respect on The Five. Why the hell is he on this show. They always cut him off when he speaks, the Blond chic hates him.
I love the Five and I try not to miss it. Greg is funny and i cannot wait to hear what and how he will describe a situation; Beckel is irritating at times but he seems grumpy all the time! Greg can you make him laugh?

The Five has been my favorite TV show since it’s inception; until now! Jaun Williams has reduced the quality, by far, of your show.
His arrogance and general positions on all matters has reduced the entertainment value substantially. (Has made Bob Beckel a “star”).
When the panel is introduced each night, if he is, on I change channels. Not enough room to expand all the details.

I believe The Five is a very weak show. It needs to be replaced.
I love the Five but the rudeness that seems to be directed to Bob is beginning to making me a past viewer. I am a strong conservative and mostly disagree with Bob but what he has to say is important and should not just be cut-off 95% of the time. Respect other points of view. What if the conservative view was the minority? You are FOX be fair and balanced and show some small amount of politeness .
Most annoying show They all talk at the same time the women giggle all the time Greg thinks he is the best thing since sliced bread especially when he has those glasses on the end of his nose Although I am a Republican Bob seems the calmest The rest are so over the top this show is not a bit relaxing
