• I was home sick as an elementary school student sometime in the mid-80′s and saw whatever show Gary was hosting at the time (The Hour?) where he had a doctor on as a guest who was really vehement about the erosion damage people do to their esophagus when they don’t swallow pills with a big sip of water. I have no idea if that was solid advice or not, but I have ALWAYS chugged any pill since then with a big dose of H20.

  • HANGAR 18 rocks. One of the great B movies of all time. Gary played a shuttle astronaut. He was a great guy. RIP buddy.

• My father went to Venice high with Gary in the 50′s. they almost got into a fist fight once. After that they became friends. My dad always talked kindly about Gary. RIP
