EXCLUSIVE: Glenn Close, James Franco and Brit Marling will star in The Grace That Keeps This World, an adaptation of the Tom Bailey novel that Terri helmer Azazel Jacobs will direct from a script by Matthew Aldrich. Anonymous Content’s Alix Madigan will produce with Jewerl Ross and Aldrich.
The story follows a father and his sons as they prepare for the upcoming hunting season. Family conflicts arise when a rookie environmental cop begins an investigation of hunting violations that reveals a family divided by their life choices.
Jacobs’ Terri was critically acclaimed on the festival circuit, and Aldrich got on the map when a bidding battle erupted over his script Father Daughter Time: A Tale Of Armed Robbery And Eskimo Kisses, which Matt Damon signed on to direct and star in for Warner Bros. Aldrich followed in a deal with Emmett/Furla for his script Fair Trade, which has Liam Neeson in talks to star, and he has completed the script for The Ballad Of Pablo Escobar for Lincoln Lawyer helmer Brad Furman, which will go into production next year.
CAA represents Close, Franco, Marling, Jacobs, and Aldrich, and the agency will co-rep the film’s distribution rights with Cinetic Media. Close is managed by Anonymous Content; Franco by James Levy Management; Marling by Alan Siegel Entertainment; Jacobs by Cinetic Management; and Aldrich by Ross.

Who’s going to see this?? C’mon!
Are you typing from a group home for the mentally challenged? All you know about the movie is that it’s a drama with three of the most celebrated actors alive. “Who’s going to see this?” Obviously not you, since you will be next door seeing “The Sponge Bob Squarepants Movie, Part III.”
Check the box office, NYC. No one wants to see James Franco, unless he’s standing next to spiderman or a talking monkey. and glenn close hasn’t done a movie that made money since 101 Dalmations in 1997.
stick to plays.
That’s a ridiculous arguement. I can see something special might happen here, hence the haters start to attack = worried much. You might not like but others will see.
Regarding box office numbers, Daniel Day-Lewis, Ryan Gosling, Clint Eastwood, Helen Mirren, Susan Sarandon, Kathy Bates (her biggest was Titanic – great choice). ALL, great actors.
Brit has a very bright future and this movie will surely raise her profile even more.
Um… Brit Marling is not one of the three most celebrated actors alive. Not one of the most three hundred even. But nevertheless, your point is well taken.
You must be crazy. If this is done right, it could be Oscars. So much EPIC talent involved already. So yeah, lots of people who are fans of the book and the stars. Plus, appreciate great solid acting movies in general. Looking forward to this one.
Your point proves that in regards to big budget movies and Franco, he does very well.
I love Glenn Close! So happy to see her in movies again
I hear you all.. I’ll also confess that I will watch it but only for Glenn Close hehe
What? James Franco? He is an amazing actor..a genious…and beautiful. Who wouldnt want to see this, unless your just plain DUMB
One’s likes and dislikes doesn’t mean a hill of beans to me nor should it to anyone else. The mentioned actors and actress are fabulous in their own right. To have them act together in a movie will be outstanding and we will be the lucky ones. Go see the movie and then decide for your self.
I’m really looking forward to this movie, and I’m surprised at the criticism, especially towards James Franco. He is a phenomenal actor and really hot!! In fact 2013 is his year to really be noticed and he deserves more praise than he gets.he’s .way under-rated
