The blogs have been a great format for flash information and
breaking news particularly of the personality side. Everyone wants to know who is in and who is out.

Hopefully their can be a differentiation of coverage with Variety
where there can be some more analysis and trend stories that have reporters with experience and knowledge doing the writing.

I dont see any reason to read Variety today after many years ad
respect the economic base cuts down resources but perhaps this is an opportunity to bring some information leadership to entertainment and communication.
